We had an issue where a customer set the OWA to have domain attached to the logon name, so if a user logs to owa he will logon using his owa account only the domain\ part will be attached directly, thus when we installed SCOM we had the following error:
OWA logon verification : OWA Logon failed. URL: https://mail.domain.com/exchange/account Description: Authentication failed. The logon request was redirected back to the logon page. This may indicate the credential for Mailbox Access Account is incorrect. Run the Exchange Management Pack Configuration Utility again to verify. Other Details: undefined
After little searching and testing we found that the error occur because It’s .net Framework 2, if you have installed KB928365 then you need to install kb943511 on the Front End Servers. I think that it will still apply for E12 as well.
